This is a 4 week term with 1 hour sessions on a Sunday evening at 7pm in Killashee Pool, Naas. Dates as follows: September 18 & 25 October 2 & 9 (Killlashee membership not required) It is very rare to find swimmers with too much body rotation in front crawl. In most cases, swimmers don't rotate enough or have a bad rotation on one side. But body rotation is essential to a proper front crawl stroke technique. In fact, it is considered fundamental to proper front crawl swimming. The three main reasons why the front crawl rotation is so important are: - Injury prevention and an easier arm recovery - Swim with a longer, more efficient stroke - Use your core and back muscles for power Are you using rotation for power in your stroke? Come along and find out how you can improve this essential movement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: swim 25m (1 length) of the pool front crawl with your head in the water. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: training fins (flippers) and a pull buoy.
